Some
Great Digital X-RAY Systems
|
|

Our Revolutionary Active Pixel Sensor (APS) with
CMOS technology delivers the highest image resolution
available; our new Universal Serial Bus (USB) Remote
Module provides you with unparalleled portability; and
our fully-customizable, practice-friendly software is
easy to use and is packed with powerful diagnostic features.

CDR® is
a computerized imaging system that utilizes an electronic
sensor instead of X-ray film.
The sensors produce sharp and clear images that
appear almost instantly on a computer screen. Acquisition
of CDR images uses up to 90% less radiation
than conventional film X-rays. In addition, CDR
is compatible with virtually all X-ray tubes.
Schick Technologies brings you the innovations that
give you a competitve edge today and set the trends
for dentistry's future.
The CDR Software seamlessly integrates with existing
practice management systems and allows full control
over our digital sensors. X-ray images can be manipulated
with a wide variety of built-in processing tools,
annotated with clinical comments, and saved on disk
for electronic transfer by modem or long-term archival
storage. With our software, underexposed radiographs
can be corrected and accurate calibrated measurements
can be taken. The software is also fully compatible
with our CDRCam intraoral camera.

CDR Wireless™ is the world's
first wireless direct digital radiography system,
combining the added convenience of cable-free movement
to the practice-building power of our Active Pixel
Sensors.
A perfect complement to any existing CDR system,
our Wireless Sensors provide greater mobility at
chairside, increasing your exam efficiency while
providing the same high level of image quality and
reduced radiation exposure you expect from our wired
Sensors.
We recommend using Schick Technologies-manufactured
Universal Holders for proper and safe Sensor positioning.
Do not use Snap-A-Ray Holders with CDR Wireless
Sensors.
Any type of clamping holder, or equivalent instrument,
can exert damaging pressure on the Sensor case,
including the material and components enclosed inside.
This type of damage is not covered by warranty.

CDRPAN
Want
to go digital but don't want to replace your current
panoramic unit?
CDRPan® provides the benefits of superior digital
imaging without your having to purchase a new panoramic
unit and without permanently altering your existing
system. Instant panoramic imaging -- and the end
of loading cassettes or film drums after every exposure.
No more chemical processing and no hazardous chemicals
to store. Images taken with CDRPan are stored electronically,
so there are no films to damage or lose.
The advantages are obvious, and best of all, you
don't have to be an advanced computer user to benefit
from the industry's most advanced technology. |
